Silent Disco at the Jacksonville Beach Pier

For all of you who love to dance, Jacksonville Beach offers a fun, lively and musical Silent Disco event, hosted by Hush Hush Headphones at the Jacksonville Beach Pier.

The Silent Disco event encouraged you to dance while enjoying the ocean breeze at your back and the sunset before your eyes. The disco returns to Jacksonville Beach Pier every Friday night from 7 pm to 10 pm.

Unique Highlights

This event is unique because you can dance to your own personal soundtrack with headphones, hence “silent” disco. Immerse yourself in the rhythm without any external noise; that is the magic of Sunset Silent Disco. It’s not just about music and dancing; you will also enjoy a beautiful sunset within vibrant and beautiful Jacksonville Beach.

• All Ages Welcome until 9:00pm: This family-friendly event means everyone can join in the fun.

• Enjoy a glass of wine at The Wine Bar Jax Beach. If you are a wine lover and enjoy a lounge atmosphere, this is your spot. With an extensive wine list and delicious food, charcuterie and tapas, Wine Bar is one of our favorite night-out spots to relax, listen to music and enjoy really good wine.
• Hoptinger Jax Beach is a great spot for late night bites, they even have a late-night menu until 2am!  With an impressive collection of over 60 craft beers on tap, delicious food, and a super upbeat atmosphere, Hoptinger is a local Jax Beach favorite hot spot.
• Chill at Surfer – The Bar: This major beach vibes spot will help you to relax, enjoy some delicious food and great cocktails while listening to live music and enjoying balcony views of Jacksonville Beach. A local favorite, this place is always packed on the weekends with a fun group, great music and all the vibes.

Atlantic & Neptune Beach: Distinctive Drinks and Bars

• Grey Matter Distillery: Taste creative cocktails with their homemade moonshine, rum, vodka, and whiskey, along with seasonal flavors. Grey Matter also hosts various themes based around holidays and special events, with specialty cocktails to match. It’s a local (not so) hidden gem and just off the beaten path of Atlantic Beach.
• Pop into Pete’s Bar: Since 1933, they have been providing cold beers and a friendly vibe. Makes sense why it is a beloved Neptune Beach hangout and the oldest bar in Florida!  
• Sample Reve Brewing: Reve Brewing pairs refreshing local made brews with tasty pizzas from Bones Pizza within the brewery. It’s a favorite among the locals and located right by Gret Matter Distillery- why not hit them both!?
• Kick back at The Lemon Bar: Lemon Bar has been and will always be our favorite outdoor bar. The closest bar to the sand you’ll get at any bar in Jacksonville and always filled with friendly patrons and ice-cold drinks. This bar has major vacation beach vibes and hosts various special events- even Silent Discos! Right next to Class Axe, this experience is for all ages. Sk8 City has an expansive rink in the Arlington/Regency Area. They also have glow-in-the-dark mini-golf and an arcade.

You can arrange a private party or special events at the Sk8 City with packages that include food, games, and skating sessions. Great music, fun vibes, and a whole lot of skating! There is even a smaller rink for your littles ones to practice first.

This side of Jacksonville nightlife is all about a night out and side-splitting laughter! Our favorite place for drinks and laughs is at The Comedy Zone which features a rotating roster of talented, famous, and upcoming comedians. It’s not located at the beaches but definitely worth mentioning.

Their comedy shows vary from different comic genres, including anecdotes about everyday life, social commentary, physical humor, and improv. The Comedy Zones features comedians like John Caparulo, Bubba Dub, Nimesh Patel and more, so be sure to check out their website and book tickets for your favorite act.
