Family Friendly Activities
If you have little ones and prefer to celebrate at home this St Patrick’s Day, we love the Pioneer Woman’s blog post and recommendations about kid friendly crafts and activities. From setting leprechaun traps to arts & crafts and delicious recipes, you’ll find a great list of festive recommendations that will get the whole family in the Irish spirit.
Some of our kids’ favorite activities every St. Patrick’s Day is to make green slime, bake green cookies and hunt for 4-leaf clovers. We also try to make an authentic Irish meal each year at home, since the Irish pubs & restaurants are pretty packed on St. Patrick’s Day. But if we do go out, it’s always to Culhane’s (and without our kids).
Or go back and check out our park guide, bring your little ones out for the day and enjoy one of our city’s beautiful parks, or perhaps do some art outside or take a stroll along one of the numerous boardwalks or paths. You don’t have to drink green beer to enjoy your St. Patrick’s Day!
